Listing Concierge
About the project
A collection of illustrations to familiarize primary users with listing products and services, as part of a comprehensive effort to revamp the user interface and align it with our nascent global design system.
Initial Sketches.
Rough drafts and ideation to establish and get a feel of the overall composition.
Extended Icon Grid.
created a base 96×96 px icon grid that can be scaled easily in 2×2 or 3×2 units with our esstablised scale. This was to accomodate the subtle complexites and embellishments that could arise in differnet compositions.
Primitives.
The grid units made it easier to work out how the basic primitives should fit and align on the grid the scales applied were 1, 4, 8, 12…. and in some cases adjusting via the ancient and glorious “time-tested” eyeballing method for the right visual balance.
Colour.
Made full use of the product colour palette, added an extended palette which was made up of shades and tints from the original palette.
Final Illustration.
Combining our scale, grid, primitives, colour and some embellishments. The final versions were adjusted to work on light and dark mode. This entire illustration was started and completed in the Figma App.
